There are three different areas that need to be setup on
your Macintosh to connect to the internet.
First set up the TCP/IP Control Panel, and then the Modem Control Panel.
Next is the way your Mac will make a dialup connection to the Internet
The two popular ways of dialing up to the Internet use either:
Remote Access or FreePPP.
Remote Access is installed as part of the Mac OS system software,
